How my recipes benefit: Aging

We all want to age gracefully, but most of us don't. Why not? The cosmetic and health products industries do a multibillion dollar business paid for by people like yourself who want to reverse aging.

Deep inside you realize as well as I do, that anything applied to the skin doesn't really work. Only expensive cosmetic surgeries make a significant difference in appearance. However, no one seems to realize that you don't fight aging from the outside in, but rather from the inside out. We are what we eat, and the skin reflects it so we can all see it. Sure, genetics play a part, but just as your cavities are your own even with inherited bad teeth, it follows that how you age is also your own.

A variety of nutrition from natural non-manufactured foods is the key to aging gracefully. Jack LaLanne, a nutrition and fitness enthusiast, as of 2003, is doing an infomercial for his juice machine. He and his wife are quite advanced in age, but very youthful, agile and healthy. Their skin glows with good health. Their minds are active and alert. Jack once said, "If man makes it, don't eat it." I couldn't agree more.

Manufactured foods with harmful additives, bad fats, white flour and sugar, are the root causes of poor nutrition, poor digestion, and poor bowel function, leading to poor aging. Sugar and manufactured foods cause wrinkles and premature aging. Natural foods high in color and fiber are great for reversing aging.

Did you ever see the movie "The Towering Inferno"? A beautiful appearing building fell apart too soon due to substandard internal materials. If your nutrition is substandard, you too may fall apart internally too soon. Your body cannot produce what you don't put in it. All the reverse aging creams and skin tightening lotions don't contain a thimble full of help.

It's never too late to improve your body. It is a natural healing machine that always responds positively when it receives the right fuel. One of the best things you can do for aging is to eat foods high in omega 3 fatty acids, such as salmon and walnuts. These are the good fats which really improve the skin, among other things. My natural recipes, which use ingredients familiar to everyone, contain the most valuable nutrients. They avoid 90% of the harmful ingredients.

By improving yourself from the inside out, you can literally see the changes every week in the mirror. Aging gracefully requires the right fuel.
