How my recipes benefit: Allergies

I could write a book on this subject, but I'll keep it simple. I had allergies to almost everything. Now I function as normal and only have a few minor allergies. Most people are allergic to one or more things whether they realize it or not. Allergies can be caused from: foods, medicines, additives, the environment from touch, or in the air. We can't do much about the environment except try and avoid the things that bother us. We can however, do quite a bit about what we put in our bodies through our mouths. Many diseases and health problems have their root cause in allergies. Many health problems are aggravated by allergies, and the symptoms become worse. A reason that medicines cause us problems can be because we aren't digesting them properly. Once the digestive system is functioning right from eating natural foods, some side effects from medicines can disappear.

By avoiding manufactured foods 90% of the time, eating the natural foods prepared naturally in my recipes, most people will notice a decrease or elimination of many allergy symptoms. Hidden allergies only become apparent when you suddenly feel better after avoiding certain foods, or what was in the food or on it. I have found that some foods that cause symptoms when eaten in large amounts, do not cause symptoms when eaten in small amounts.

For those reading this who have allergies, numerous or not, I have an additional suggestion. Read a book by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad "Say Goodbye To Illness". She developed a method using acupressure that will stop allergies. Since the book was written, the treatments have become very quick and simple. They are called NAET, and one treatment now only takes about 20 minutes. Clinics are widely available.

People become accustomed to feeling bad in many ways and think of it as normal. But healthy people don't have things wrong with them. Our bodies were meant to function well, feel good, and heal naturally. It seems that disease, health, weight problems and allergies have progressed at about the same rate as technology effecting the environment and man-made foods have progressed. My allergy friendly recipes that avoid the harmful foods, are the best way to fuel your body in the most uncomplicated, healthy way and reduce allergies.
