Our health is reflected in many ways. Poor memory and brain fog can be a reflection of eating the
wrong foods. Our skin and hair reflect the result of our nutrition. Skin and hair should only occasionally require
external moisturizing. It should come from inside the body by eating the right foods. Drinking plenty of
natural fluids can't be emphasized enough. Natural foods high in omega 3 fatty acids are especially
good for the brain, skin and hair. These are the good fats that our bodies need on a daily basis and are
found in my recipes. They are absent in manufactured foods. Omega 3's are found in fish, especially
salmon, in nuts, especially walnuts, and in olive oil. I eat salmon four or five times a week and walnuts
on a daily basis. I also take omega 3 fish oil softgels as a supplement. This nutrition has made a huge
difference in me. My thinning hair grew back, my skin which had been dry and in poor condition, is
tremendously improved. Pumpkin is an example of a natural food that is great for the skin and
complexion. My brain fog is gone and my short-term memory is just fine now. The brain
also needs complex carbohydrates to function properly. These are contained in honey, real maple
syrup, fruit, some vegetables, and the whole grains in my recipes. Two new studies published in the
February 2003 issue of the Archives of Neurology states that participants who ate the bad fats had
slightly more than twice the risk for Alzheimer's disease. conversely, those who ate the good fats
were found to have a decrease in the risk. Your nails will also benefit greatly from my
recipes. Your body can only produce the results of the nutrition you give it.
