How my recipes benefit: Diabetes, Hypoglycemia

Any reputable doctor will tell you that diabetes and hypoglycemia can be prevented. If you are a Type 2 diabetic, it can be improved or reversed. It's the refined and manufactured simple carbohydrates, such as sugar, refined syrups and white bread products that harm diabetics and hypoglycemics. It's the complex carbohydrates that are needed for good health. The brain is fueled by complex carbohydrates. They include: fruit, honey, and the whole grains I use in my recipes. Honey is fructose, the same as fruit. Your doctor or dietitian can tell each individual his or her daily allowance.

Using my natural recipes and snacking on my natural desserts every two hours, will prevent hypoglycemia symptoms and maintain a normal blood sugar level. I had problems with hypoglycemia for many years. Using my recipes and eating a small amount every two hours kept my blood sugar levels normal. Avoiding manufactured, refined and processed foods will improve or even prevent type 2 or borderline diabetes. For insulin dependant diabetics, my natural recipes will be very beneficial. Sugar is not "natural" even if some products that contain sugar state "all natural". If it's been altered by man, it is not natural. Sugar is your enemy, whether you have diabetes or hypoglycemia or not. Look what sugar does to your teeth. Our bodies can handle harmful foods perhaps 10% of the time, but not all of the time. Diabetes has dramatically increased among children. Some schools in certain states are eliminating soft drink machines to combat this rising problem. When you put the wrong foods into your body, it can cause your body to break down in many different ways.

What kind of fuel are you putting in your body?
