How my recipes benefit: Disease

What causes disease? My website is based on one premise. Common sense. With each bit of information I give, I must be able to say to myself, "That makes perfect sense." So what would make sense as to the reason human beings develop disease?

Well, it seems to me that while an illness can jump out of the air and get us, a health disease cannot. It must develop inside the body. So what would cause that to happen? While there are some diseases that are caused by viruses or bacteria, it is clear to me that many are nutrition related. The misuse of man-made foods has ruined mankind. What would happen to a body if it goes for many years without getting enough of one or more vitamins and minerals from proper nutrition in food? Vitamins are organic compounds needed in the diet for health and growth. The body needs every nutrient for a reason. If it doesn't get something over a long period of time, would it develop a health problem? I think the answer is a definite yes. Only common sense is needed to reason this out. We know that Spina Bifida develops in the unborn fetus from lack of the B vitamin folic acid in the mother. We also know that if we don't eat enough complete protein daily, our bodies will take it from our internal organs. If the body takes protein from the heart, kidney, or any organ, failure of that organ will result. When we don't consume sufficient calcium, the body takes it from our bones resulting in osteoporosis, which is known as softening of the bones.

Unless a person eats vegetables, fruits, protein, and grains daily, in that order, plus takes a high quality multivitamin, that person will lack in many crucial nutrients. It doesn't take rocket science to know this. Just as many diseases can be caused by the lack of good nutrition and from eating harmful foods, diseases can also be improved or reversed by proper nutrition. My recipes did this for me and they can do the same for you. The effect on my health was profound and dramatic. My natural recipes are uncomplicated and allow you to easily eat your way to good health.

Are you a person who eats a lot of fast food and junk food and feels just fine? You have no idea how hard your body is working to extract minimal nutrients from your poor diet! Eventually something will go wrong. The percentage of people who abuse their bodies and live to a ripe old age is so small it would take a rocket scientist to calculate it. Have you ever noticed that it is hard to find elderly obese people in nursing homes? The operative word here is "elderly". I'm not talking about patients in nursing homes in their 30's, 40's, 50's or even 60's who are there for health related problems due to extreme obesity. They are not elderly and probably never will be. Obese people don't usually live long enough to be elderly enough to need a nursing home. I noticed this myself when I worked in nursing homes as a charge nurse. I never forgot it.

Many health problems can be turned around by eating all you want of a variety of foods in their natural state. The body is natural and responds positively to natural foods. Manufactured foods are foreign to our bodies. Would you expect your car to perform correctly on something that was foreign to it?

Have you ever watched documentaries that tell us about all the living creatures on this planet? Did you notice that each creature instinctively eats only certain things? When fed the wrong things, many of them can't survive. In 2003, over 63% of Americans, that's approximately 184 million, and an estimated 9 million children are overweight. 30% of 15 to 19 year olds are also overweight. They're surviving on mostly manufactured foods, but at what cost?

Pay no attention to all the misinformation out there about diets. It is very confusing, difficult, and doesn't work. My solution to disease is based on nature. If you feed your body unnatural food too much of the time, disease will happen. Fast food and junk food should only be eaten as a treat, once in a while. Feeding your body natural food can only be the absolute natural thing to do that nature intended. Bodies will perform as nature intended on the right fuel.
