Recipes in Dessert Cookbook Vol. #1

The following is a list of the 19 recipes in "Dessert Cookbook Vol. #1". I can't emphasize enough how nutritious these recipes are for you. I believe they're actually better for you than some quickly thrown together meals or most fast foods.

All recipes listed below are fat-free, low fat, sugar-free, wheat-free, gluten-free, additive-free, lower calorie, natural and uncomplicated.

Note:  I do not give a breakdown of calories, carbs, fat, fiber etc. for each recipe. I do however give a "nutritional background" for each of my main ingredients throughout my cookbooks, and on the "My Ingredients" page on my website. My natural recipes are naturally lower in calories, fat, and high in fiber. Our bodies recognize and understand natural foods, but do not recognize or understand refined foods.

  1. Mary Glenda's Sensational Signature Carrot Cake . Contains the most delicious ingredients you'll ever find in a carrot cake.

  2. Go Bananas Over Banana Nut Cake . With "show me something easier" Banana Ice Cream .

  3. Your Best Bet Brownies . With or without icing or nuts. Beyond delicious - you won't believe you can eat all you want.

  4. Yummy Apple Muffins . Yummy doesn't do them justice.

  5. Ooey Gooey Cherry Squares . Your mouth can water now.

  6. Very Berry Blueberry Squares . They'll brighten your day.

  7. Awesome Applesauce Cake . With fruits and nuts. This cake is so good, and yet it's wheat free, sugar free, fat free, egg free, milk free and no added salt.

  8. Glorious Apricot Nut Bread . Wonderful at Christmas time too.

  9. The Chocoholic's Chocolate Chip Cake . M-M-M Good! I made a small concession for the sake of goodness by using chocolate chips. The amount of sugar in the chips per cookie is negligible.

  10. A Pineapple Upside-down Cake . To pine for. The way I've used a little pure real maple syrup, makes it seem gooey with brown sugar and butter.

  11. Better Than Grandma's Gingerbread Cake . WOW! This cake is terrific!

  12. Unforgettable Apple Cobbler Upside-down Cake . Words are inadequate to describe this luscious cake.

  13. 3 Grain Orange Glory Muffins . Great for breakfast or snacks.

  14. Buckwheat Pancakes . A truly nutritious and delicious breakfast. Buckwheat does not contain wheat.

  15. A Favorite With Children, Nutmeg Mini Donuts . Gone in 60 seconds.

  16. Chocolate Donuts . With icing. These disappear in a flash too!

  17. It's Not Cheesecake But A Kissin' Cousin. This is no-bake, and you won't believe it. You can eat all you want and not gain weight.

  18. I Want More Brown Rice Pudding . The best I've ever eaten.

  19. Incredible Cinnamon-Custard Bread Pudding . I never liked bread pudding, so I created this one.

Most of my cakes don't need icing, but if you prefer icing or glazes, I have several choices for you in my cookbook.

I use one or two eggs in some of these recipes. Eggs are natural and full of nutrition, including protein and iron. Our bodies need some natural cholesterol daily. That's why we have a cholesterol blood level. The yolks contain lecithin, which breaks down fat in the body. For those with allergies, egg substitute may be used.

My ingredients are easily available for reasonable prices at local supermarkets or health food stores.

Please read my other pages and Thank You for visiting my website.
