Recipes in Children's Cookbook

The following is a descriptive list of the 30 recipes in my Children's Cookbook. You're going to love this cookbook! It's for children, teenagers, for the young-at-heart, and for adults who are learning to cook healthy. These recipes are not like those in any other children's cookbooks. They are not only healthy recipes that children will love, but they are also simple recipes that children can actually make.

These recipes are fat-free and low fat, sugar-free and low sugar, wheat & gluten-free (although 2 recipes contain whole wheat) and they are additive-free and allergy friendly. Each recipe uses as few ingredients as possible. This cookbook is not a picture book. It does not contain unnecessary words or overwhelming information. The carefully selected helpful info is easy and fun for a parent or adult and child to read together.

Following the descriptive list of recipes is a Sample Recipe
, so you can see the easy-to-follow way I have laid out each recipe with the directions.

Note:  I do not give a breakdown of calories, carbs, fat, fiber etc. for each recipe. I do however give a "nutritional background" for each of my main ingredients throughout my cookbooks, and on the "My Ingredients" page on my website. My natural recipes are naturally lower in calories, fat, and high in fiber. Our bodies recognize and understand natural foods, but do not recognize or understand refined foods.

  1. Boogie Woogie Burgers . Really tasty burgers with a twist. Children will love these. Quick and healthy. Beef, chicken, or turkey may be used.

  2. Chicken Fingers Real Fast with Dip . No messy breading here. Fast, simple, nutritious and with a healthy, flavorful dip.

  3. Best BBQ Ribs . Two ingredients, then let cook. Easy, easy and absolutely delicious!

  4. Super Sausage Pie . Four main ingredients, mix and bake. I use healthier turkey sausage for best nutrition. This pie is really, really good.

  5. Yummy Colorful Vegetable Bake . This is so eye-appealing and scrumptious! Four main ingredients and bake. Children can't resist this!

  6. Microwave Meal For One . So simple, healthy and takes less than 10 minutes. A great fast food, with options.

  7. Peas To Please . Won't eat peas? I'll bet this fun-to-make recipe will change ones mind. An option instead of peas is given, just in case.

  8. Hurry-up Chicken Vegetable Soup . 20 minutes from start to finish! Healthy, tasty and so easy!

  9. Quick & Speedy Biscuits . No unhealthy white flour here! Nutritious, allergy-free whole grain brown rice flour is used. Three main ingredients, baked easily in a muffin tin, and are melt-in-your-mouth good!

  10. Easy Breezy Eggs . Eggs cooked in oils are a thing of the past! These eggs with 2 ingredients are microwaved and taste better than conventional cooked eggs. Fast too!

  11. Sweet Creamy Oatmeal . Lip smackin' good! Honey and cream and everything nice!

  12. Snappy Snack Chips . A variety of flavorful chips. This crunchy snack contains whole wheat. If you have wheat allergies you may not be able to use this recipe.

  13. Really Crisp Quick Snack . Some unusual, really crispy treats that are wheat, sugar and fat free. Healthy and tasty!

  14. Peanutty Pudding Squares (no bake) . No bake natural ingredients, easy to mix up quickly and refrigerate. Yum, yum!

  15. Vanilla Crispy Bars (no bake) . What a hit these are! Sweet vanilla taste and much healthier than typical crispy rice bars. No bake.

  16. Rocky Road Cookie Candies (no bake) . Wow, these are great! They're no bake, and are a cross between a cookie and a chocolate fudge candy. They can be easily mixed in 5 minutes and eaten immediately, or stored in the refrigerator for more firmness. Irresistible!

  17. Pow! Pumpkin Pudding , Pumpkin pie without the pie! Easy to mix and cook quickly in a saucepan. Delicious! Pumpkin is also a good source of beta-carotene and iron.

  19. Keen Kiwi Smoothie . Kiwi, one of the healthiest fruits, makes a delightful green drink.

  23. Eagle Speed Drinks . These tasty drinks can replace some of those unhealthy sodas and colas kids drink so much.

  24. One Cup Of Hot Chocolate . This is so fast, so enjoyable and so healthy. It's great cold too. Manufactured chocolate mixes are full of artificial additives and lots of sugar.

  25. Totally Terrific Tea . These are a few great tasting ways to help children develop a liking for healthy herb teas.

  26. Sweet & Crunchy Snack Mix (no bake) . This is a wonderful, delicious TV snack that will have everyone asking for more!

  27. Chocolate Candy Roll-ups (no bake) . Quick to make. Made with honey and unsweetened chocolate and refrigerated. Doesn't get hard. A sweet treat.

  28. Lemon Cream . 3 ingredients, ready in 5 minutes. Many uses.

  29. Fruit Dazzles . These ideas will make eating fruit very appealing!

  30. I Scream For Ice Cream . The next time you're in the supermarket, read the labels on different brands of ice creams and frozen yogurts. You'll be shocked at how many use harmful additives. My recipes are some healthy alternatives that will make you feel as if you're eating ice cream.
